On March 7, 2018, Member of Parliament for West Nova, Colin Fraser presented the St. Ambrose Quilters a certificate of thanks for their outstanding leadership in the community which allows seniors to take part in the creation of beautiful quilts and stay socially active.

September 2020 Hygiene supplies, monetary donations and other items were collected by St. Ambrose Catholic Women's League, Yarmouth for Shyft House, non-profit shelter for youth and counselling centre. Dawn Scott, president coordinated the collection outdoors due to COVID-19. $175 dollars in gift cards were donated, $300 dollars plus in supplies and a handmade quilt were part of the collection.

St. Ambrose Catholic Women's League, Yarmouth attended World Day of Prayer for the Sick and Memorial Service at Villa Saint Joseph-du-Lac,long term nursing care facility in remembering our deceased sister Rosa Hattie and accompanying our resident sister Frances Martin.
